Hi, I’m Asha

I found my first pair of quad skates in a bin and was soon “discovered” at a roller disco, leading me to represent Great Britain in artistic figure skating throughout my teens.

But when I switched to inline skates as an adult (after 5 years off), I had to start from scratch—teaching myself everything. That challenge became my inspiration.

In 2000, I created Skatefresh and developed the Skatefresh Method: a step-by-step system that helps new and returning skaters build real skills, confidence, and control—without the frustration or fear of falling.

I found that most people gave up too soon, so I designed fun, bite-sized drills that make progress easy, predictable & rewarding from the very first lesson.

Since launching our first online training in 2013, we’ve helped tens of thousands of skaters worldwide. I’ve also worked with the BBC and Disney as a skate coach—but my real passion is helping people all over the world learn to skate with joy and confidence.
