Singapore! What a great stay it’s been. Staying with old friends from London has been such a treat.

I was shown around on skates by one of my online students and the Marina Bay area is just spectacular. Innovative, modern architecture, dramatic skyline and uniquely unusual buildings and urban creations like the Gardens by the Bay, Art and Science Museum (Lotus), Helix Bridge and Singapore Flyer. The video below shows all this more clearly.

Thank you to my students who made my weekend of classes fun and very special. I think we achieved a lot together. I met people I’ve known on Facebook for years and new ones I will know for years….. we went through a lot of sweat together, very bonding!

Saturday’s Night Skate was awesome, full of smiles, super friendly skaters, some incredible slides and a colourful Marina Bay at night finale……

I’ve eaten the BEST food ever in Singapore. Each meal a delicious treat. I’ve had an addiction to Singapore Laksa for many years and have managed to consume several of them, all delicious. Plus of course the famous “Chicken Rice”, lots of noodles, pork dumplings and Pineapple tarts. Everything has been exceptional.

I was honoured to have students from as far away as Australia and even ICP Instructors and Examiners in class. Keeps me on my toes. We continued ICP chats and meetings while having foot massages (now that’s what I call a perfect business meeting.

I’ll definitely be back to Singapore. A really fantastic skate location and beautifully clean, green, organised and highly functioning city. It has the fastest internet speed I’ve ever experienced. But the people I’ve met here have been super sweet, mega friendly, diligent and just lovely.
All in all, very impressed with everything.

Next Stop Sydney for workshops 2nd 3rd Dec and then Brisbane for the Skatefresh Trip 8th, 9th Dec. Australia here I come. I haven’t been in Australia for 16 years!
