Berlin

Fri 22nd - Sun 24th May 2026

This weekend skate trip combines a day of “perfect countryside skating” with Berlin City Sights Tour, plus joining an impromptu Friday Night Skate. Berlin is skateable, and full of surprises as we skate along the Berlin Wall, the river and even an airport runway!

Meeting point for all 3 days:

Alexanderplatz:

Trip Itinerary

Friday Night Street Skate 22nd May

Meet 1945 for 2000 departure. Location tba.

We will join the local Berlin skate community for their Friday Night Skate. We will announce more details closer to the time. This is optional and only for those with street skate experience.

Saturday 23rd May

Meet at 08:30 (exact time tba based on train timetable)

We will meet at Alexanderplatz (in shoes) and then take the train 35 minutes to Fleaming Skate. We will skate all day in the quiet countryside, through forests, past fields and lakes and stop in a traditional Tavern for leisurely lunch. We will work on your distance stride skating while enjoying the views and thrill of skating in the countryside without any cars to think about.
This is one of Asha’s favourite Trip days anywhere in the world.

If you do not use a heel brake then you must be able to control your speed and stop on downhill slopes using any other stopping methods. The ability level of participants on the trip needs to be closely matched so that the chosen terrain and average speeds can be appropriate for everyone and allow for greater learning.
