About the Quads SkateDance Lessons
Asha’s Quads Skatedance class can be attended by various ability levels from advanced beginner to intermediate level quad & inline skaters.
Each dance move comes with several options (from easier to harder) so everyone can work at their own pace. You'll be able to continue progressing even after the class is over.
This class will focus on a series of individually taught moves (e.g. Strut, Downtown, Crazy Legs etc) which we will then sequence into a short choreography that we’ll film, so you have reference to it forever. This means you can continue to improve it for performing at the roller disco, events and meet-ups.
It is recommended to remove your toe stoppers for dance class (but if you are more comfortable with your stoppers that's fine). This class is also suitable for inline skaters (in which case, please remove the heel brake).
Please note: This group lesson is not appropriate for complete beginners. You should be able to skate forwards comfortably, stop and turn. Some basic backwards ability is useful as many dance steps (eg Strutt) require backwards rolling. If you aren't yet skating backwards we will simplify those moves for you (eg Static Walk instead of Strutt).
