Asha’s teaching style is direct and progressive, so you’ll work through several drills and movements for each skill which build your core competencies and allow you to understand what’s been holding you back. Further practice of these drills in the future will refine your skills and allow you to retain good form as your speed naturally increases.
What Will You Learn?
Consolidate the basics by revising your Heel Brake Stop (inliners) or Toe Stop (quads).
Improve your stride technique so you gain fitness from your skating and fix bad habits (such as pronation and V-ing).
One legged gliding techniques to improve your agility & balance.
Acceleration technique and how it’s different from normal skating.
Parallel turns in both directions.
PLEASE NOTE: This class is not suitable for complete beginners who are still struggling to skate. If this is you we recommend you attend TrySkating.com and their beginner sessions at the Arc.
