Oxford Stops & Slides (Improver Level) Skate Lesson Sun 19 June 2022 @ 1230-1430

Location:

The most important of ALL skills on inline skates is how to stop and every skater should have several, high functioning stopping methods in their repertoire (which first are trained on the flat and only later on slopes.

This workshop looks at the essential stops every skater should have,

  • Plough Stop (2 versions)
  • T-Stop (so that it actually stops you)
  • Turn Stops (various options)

The majority of rollerbladers do not realise that by neglecting their stopping methods they not only increase their risks of falls and injuries but also reduce their learning of other skills such as speed skating.

PLEASE NOTE:
These lessons will only take place if we get the required minimum number of bookings. Please do not book any travel/accommodation until you receive confirmation that these lessons will go ahead (on 14th June).
